To the Lighthouse Playlist

I find that when I'm doing any kind of work, I need background noise. I assembled a playlist that I've been listening to while reading Woolf and thought I'd share. I'm not sure if an account is required to listen to the playlist, but you can find it here. The final song, "A Cloak of Elvenkind" reminds me of James.

  1. Yeah, awesome, indeed -- thanks Elizabeth! Such a moody and appropriate playlist. The "Watercolor Sky" track makes for a perfect accompaniment for that "soothing vs. terrifying" passage we discussed today relative to Mrs. Ramsay and the sound of the waves on the beach. Somehow I've never heard that Marcy Playground song -- has a kind of Neutral Milk Hotel-sound to it -- great song. Thumbs up on Deerhunter, and I own (& love!) that Baroness "Yellow and Green" record ...
